Because of repeated questioning, we are posting some questions &answers about the service of the sim jio

1 . what is jio 4G ?
     Jio 4G is a newly introduced  mobile phone  services by Reliance Industries..

2.  What are  the special features of Jio?
     Different factors are there. most important  one is  speed. You can use internet at the speed  of
     10-30 mbps.Another one is Jio's preview offer. This offer is attracted by the people alot..
                   
                         

3 .How to get a sim  ?
      To  get a jio sim, Buy a LYF phone. otherwise you need a phone such as samsung Galaxy, A5, A7  ,  note4,  note5, S6 , S6edge ,  S7 , S7edge  etc

4  What about Jio preview offers?
    You can use unlimited calls,messages and internet on mobiles through preview offers.

5.  I  have  the  phone  ,  but  how to  buy the  sim  .
    you  can  install  my  jio  app  from  the  play store  .  After that  open  the  app  ,  click  on the  Get      Jio  sim  option  .  And  give  the required  details  and  generate  the  barcode  . Then  you  can           visit  your  Reliance  digital store  or  mini  store  to  buy  the  sim.

6.  The  rest  of  the  phone  have  a  sim ?
      No,it is not allowed with any other phone.But if your phone is 4G and if it banded supported by India then you can acquire the sim,and also you should have installed the old version  of my Jio app and(V3.2.05) and install other 10 apps. After that turn off the mobile data and open the my Jio App.  And you can see Get Jio option.Then you can turn off the net and click the button and generate the barcode and buy the sim from near Reliance Digital Store or DX Mini Store .

7. When I went to the Reliance store  They said that they won't give sim?
    Officially the sim gets with the phone like LYF or Samsung.Otherwise,the dealers will not allow to give the sim. For that, you can generate the barcode and show it to the dealers along with the respective phones.

8. My phone is 3G shall I use this sim in this phone
    No, now only 4G service is  available in Jio.So that it have only work in 4G network.It will not have network in 3G phone.

9. The sim that gets along with the phone LYF,can I use it with  other phones?
    Yes,But the  lock is IMEI. we cannot unlock it.So That ,until it launched  we cannot use it.

10. How much  time it will take the sim active?
      Sometimes within  24 hrs it will be active ,otherwise it take 10 days.

11. The sim becomes active but it shows only 2G?
     When  the sim becomes active,along with that a started  pack will also become active .In that 2GB internet   gives the  offers like 100 minutes VOLTE calls,100 SMS etc..

12. How to activate unlimited preview offers?
     After the activation of sim,open my Jio app once more.In that you can see Get Jio Sim or Avail offer. Open that and install 4 Apps like Jio play,Jio on Demand,Jio beats,Jio security etc... After some time the preview offers will become activated.

13. After the activation ,I removed the sim from that phone and use it in the another phone Will  the  preview offer expires?
     While activating  the  preview offer,the phone's IMEI number is also marked  along with the preview offer.If we changed the sim to another phone ,  the offer will expire within 4 or 5 days.

14. it working only in sim port1?
      No ,But  preview offer will works only in sim port 1

15. I cannot call from Jio
     Only VOLTE supported phone can call directly. Other should open Jio Join App  and call through it
   
16. Is that Jio 4G and Reliance 4G are same?
     No, both the companies are independent .But there is an agreement with both the companies that share network mutually.

17. How can I know that there is range  of my native place?
     Buy anybody's 4G  phones and search  4G  network and  If you see network  like Indo-Jio4G,Jio4G,Loop4G ,is anyone  will show mea ns you can assure that your place had Jio network.

18. Range is there in my phone ,but  there is no speed ?
      In your locality, the tower is not  within 2Km. Then it will affect the speed . Area within 1.5 Km will get maximum high speed. If it is so near to the tower then the speed will be extra high speed. kindly,contact  the customer care and give a complaint about the slow speed

19.How will be the tariff planned after 3 months?
     No idea, Jio didn't declare any offers officially. We are hearing only just the speculations.

20. When it will launch commercially?
       There is no apt answer. Sometimes it will be within 3 months.Otherwise anytime it will be launching.

21. Be there any network coverage in Kerala?
      Of course!Even if in the intial stage  most of the places had 95% network coverage   in Kerala

22. Is this sim free? What are the documents  required to take sim?
      It is absolutely free. There is a printed note  of generated bar codes(some place  2 printout will ask),1 ID proof and original of it.and one photo.
